Noye's Fludde

We were delighted to join other local schools in the recent Mid Wales Opera production of ‘Noye’s Fludde’ by Benjamin Britten.  Twenty of our singers, collectively known as ‘Aurora Chorealis’, spent two practice days at the Cathedral prior to the two performances on Friday 20th September.  The opera, about the Biblical story of Noah’s Ark, formed the start of the North Wales International Music Festival and helped raise money for last year’s flood victims in St Asaph.  The children formed the cargo of animals in Noah’s Ark and were dressed in pyjamas carrying cuddly animals!  Performances were packed out in the Cathedral and much enjoyed by parents and friends.
