Mother Earth

Forms VI and VII were excited to take part in ‘The Seasons’ — a cross curricular education project — inspired by the North Wales International Music Festival theme, Mother Earth. The project melded music, art and literature and was inspired by Welsh folk songs. Group leaders for art, visual arts and music visited the school to hold workshops with the children and the project came to fruition at the cathedral, where the children had an opportunity for further group work followed by a folk music performance. Younger children also visited the Cathedral for the Schools concert — part of the NWIMF.
