Maths Challenge Victors
This term we were invited to send two maths teams to Ruthin to battle for the Maths challenge shield. Over 70 year 5 pupils took part in what has now become a regular annual event. The day started with number sequence questions and a numeric crossword. The teams then went around the school, following clues to further puzzling questions. After lunch there was a final round of relay questions with the teams racing to answer as many as possible in the time allotted. When all the results were added up we were delighted to find that one of our teams was declared the overall winners. They came back with amazon vouchers for the team members and a laptop for the school.
