Harvest Time

We were delighted to invite parents, once again, to join with us in our Harvest Celebrations. Each Form contributed readings, drama, songs and prayers to the event and we all enjoyed our usual round of harvest hymns. The Welsh Readers Club read and explained a harvest prayer and the guitar group played an extract from ‘The New World Symphony’.

Thank you to everyone for bringing gifts for our harvest table, beautifully arranged by Mrs. Turner. All the gifts were collected by Save the Family, a local charity based in Chester and North Wales which helps families in difficulty stay together and get back on their feet.

Well done to all the children for taking part in our first Open Assembly this year. Our next Open Assemblies will include St. Andrew’s Day, Chinese New Year and World Book Day. Parents and friends are very welcome to attend.
