General Election 2015

The excitement of the hustings came to Fairholme this week when we held our own Elections on General Election Day. Fourteen parties fought fiercely to persuade the electorate that they had the best policies. These included cars running on water, more doctors for the NHS, public transport boats, cleaner environment etc. When the votes were counted, 'The Rainbow Warriors' were declared the winners closely pursued by 'Wingbeat' and 'THe Nature Party'. Well done everyone for taking part; some excellent ideas and great confidence shown in speeches and answering questions!
