Fairholme's Eerie Sun
Fairholme was bathed in a strange red glow on the morning of 16th October caused by a mysterious weather phenomenon. The reddish sky and red-looking sun was reported across the region and had a very similar feel to the solar eclipse we remember watching back in March 2015.
The phenomenon was apparently due to the remnants of Hurricane Ophelia dragging in tropical air and dust from the Sahara. It certainly gave an eerie feel to our morning break time and a pleasant glow over our new building.
