Charity Sports' Day

Thank you all for supporting our charity Sports Day.  It was great to be able to return to Fairholme for this event which included running, hurdles, obstacle races, relays, high jump, and an old favourite — ‘Get Ready for School’ race.

Well done to all children for their great efforts and sportsmanship, thanks to our caterers for the excellent scones and cream and thank you to Mr Roberts for organising this special event.  We collected a massive £295 from the sale of refreshments, the raffle and ice creams. 

Well done to the School Council for coming up with our charity — Guide Dogs for the Blind — to fit in with this term’s theme of light and colour.  We have been able to sponsor a guide dog called Monty with your generous donations and we look forward to keeping up with his progress in regular ‘pupdates’ as he completes his training for this very worthwhile job.
