This term each Form is leading a Whole School Assembly about events and developments over the last 100 years.
Forms VI and VII started us off leading the assembly about World War I and conflicts since that time. All pupils contributed with interesting facts and an excellent ‘PowerPoint’ slide show. Mia brought along some WW1 artefacts which all the children had a chance to handle following the assembly.
Next, Form IV led an interesting assembly all about how transport has developed over the last 100 years. They presented some very comprehensive information on cars, buses, trains, tanks and aircraft. William brought in his model Flying Scotsman and Luca performed ‘King of the Road’ from ‘Wind in the Willows’.
We look forward to further assemblies after half-term.
