A fun time was had by all on the recent Drama Workshop just before the start of the Autumn Term. We were delighted to see so many new faces on the workshop with many younger members joining the group.
Some great acting, dancing and singing skills were emerging during the week as pupils negotiated swords, umbrellas and wigs. Highlights during the week were the making of very decorative masks using paint, feathers and gem stones ready for the ‘Masked Ball’ and wallpapering the new scenery; highlights of the show included Ben’s convincing performance as D’Artagnon, Olly dressing up as Esmerelda and the group dance to ‘The Timewarp’.
Participants developed confidence — all pupils from Form I to VII taking speaking roles — and great teamwork skills — very fitting for our theme ‘All for One and One for All’! Be ready to join us for the next drama workshop — don’t miss out!
